Training
Training Overview
We offer a week-long training in the ASA Deactivation, Hyperactivation, and Anomalous content coding system. This training is intended for individuals who are knowledgeable of the ASA protocol and have undergone training in secure base script knowledge.
The week-long training is held virtually via Zoom, and includes lectures covering each scale, along with examples of applying the scales to ASA narratives. Participants also complete homework assignments in which they practice coding narratives on their own, and then discuss ratings with instructors and participants.
After completing the training, participants are provided with a set of reliability transcripts to code over the course of a month. Final scores are sent to instructors to assess reliability.
